Cover Catch-Up (6): Wintery Covers!

In "Cover Catch-Up" I share some covers that have either been recently revealed, or that I've just found and really wanted to share.

The two covers I have to share are a bit similar. They've both got girl's faces on the cover, and they're winter themed...and I also can't wait to read them both! :D I also figured that since we keep getting sucked back into cold weather here in Edmonton, that I might as well share some wintery covers. :P I've also decided to start sharing book descriptions with my cover posts, so hopefully you all like that!

The first cover is for The Winter People by Rebekah Purdy!

 Description:
An engrossing, complex, romantic fantasy perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore or Maggie Stiefvater, set in a wholly unique world.

Salome Montgomery fears winter—the cold, the snow, the ice, but most of all, the frozen pond she fell through as a child. Haunted by the voices and images of the strange beings that pulled her to safety, she hasn't forgotten their warning to "stay away." For eleven years, she has avoided the winter woods, the pond, and the darkness that lurks nearby. But when failing health takes her grandparents to Arizona, she is left in charge of maintaining their estate. This includes the "special gifts" that must be left at the back of the property.

Salome discovers she’s a key player in a world she’s tried for years to avoid. At the center of this world is the strange and beautiful Nevin, who she finds trespassing on her family’s property. Cursed with dark secrets and knowledge of the creatures in the woods, his interactions with Salome take her life in a new direction. A direction where she'll have to decide between her longtime crush Colton, who could cure her fear of winter. Or Nevin who, along with an appointed bodyguard, Gareth, protects her from the darkness that swirls in the snowy backdrop. An evil that, given the chance, will kill her.

I absolutely love the font on this one!! :D It reminds me of fairies...I think because it reminds me of Tolkien's elvish script, and the "winter" aspect makes me think of the winter courts in several fey series that I've read! I think this cover is gorgeous though, and the story sounds awesome! :D

The second cover that I have today is for Crown of Ice by Vicki L. Weavil!

Description:
Thyra Winther's seventeen, the Snow Queen, and immortal, but if she can't reassemble a shattered enchanted mirror by her eighteenth birthday she's doomed to spend eternity as a wraith.

Armed with magic granted by a ruthless wizard, Thyra schemes to survive with her mind and body intact. Unencumbered by kindness, she kidnaps local boy Kai Thorsen, whose mathematical skills rival her own. Two logical minds, Thyra calculates, are better than one. With time rapidly melting away she needs all the help she can steal.

A cruel lie ensnares Kai in her plan, but three missing mirror shards and Kai's childhood friend, Gerda, present more formidable obstacles. Thyra's willing to do anything – venture into uncharted lands, outwit sorcerers, or battle enchanted beasts -- to reconstruct the mirror, yet her most dangerous adversary lies within her breast. Touched by the warmth of a wolf pup's devotion and the fire of a young man's desire, the thawing of Thyra's frozen heart could be her ultimate undoing.

CROWN OF ICE is a YA Fantasy that reinvents Hans Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen" from the perspective of a young woman who discovers that the greatest threat to her survival may be her own humanity.

This cover is also gorgeous!!! And it's a retelling of "The Snow Queen"...so I'm sold! After loving Frozen so much, I'm definitely eager to read more stories inspired by the same fairytale! :D

---------------------------

I love that these two covers are similar, but still unique...and they definitely make me want to do some kind of theme read once both are released. ;) haha

What do you think of these covers?

Waiting on Wednesday (5): Catch a Falling Star!!

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It gives us the chance to fangirl over all of the books that we can't wait to read!

CATCH A FALLING STAR
by Kim Culbertson

Hitting the shelves on April 29, 2014 from Scholastic Press

Book Description:

A deliciously charming novel about finding true love . . . and yourself.

Nothing ever happens in Little, CA. Which is just the way Carter Moon likes it. But when Hollywood arrives to film a movie starring former child star turned PR mess Adam Jakes, everything changes. Carter's town becomes a giant glittery set and, much to her annoyance, everyone is starry-eyed for Adam. Carter seems to be the only girl not falling all over herself to get a glimpse of him. Which apparently makes her perfect for the secret offer of a lifetime: playing the role of Adam's girlfriend while he's in town, to improve his public image, in exchange for a hefty paycheck. Her family really needs the money and so Carters agrees. But it turns out Adam isn't at all who she thought he was. As they grow closer, their relationship walks a blurry line between what's real and what's fake, and Carter must open her eyes to the scariest of unexplored worlds - her future. Can Carter figure out what she wants out of life AND get the guy? Or are there no Hollywood endings in real life?

MY THOUGHTS

There are two types of romance that I have a serious soft spot for...the first is sports romances, and the second is romances with celebrities (in a way, I guess athletes count as celebrities, too :P). I have a tendency to day dream, so I just really enjoy the idea of an everyday main character meeting somebody famous. :P Even without the celebrity aspect, I think that Catch a Falling Star sounds fantastic! As a small town girl, I'm also always a fan of exciting things happening in other small towns, and I have a feeling that I'm going to relate to the main character of this book, Carter, extremely well! I seriously can't wait to get a copy of this book in my hands! :D

What do you think?
Does Catch a Falling Star sound good to you?
And what book or books are you eagerly awaiting?

Night Games Blog Tour: Review, Excerpt, Blog Set & GIVEAWAY!!

Title:  Night Games
Author: Collette West
Published:  February 28, 2014
Genre:
Sports Romance

Book Synopsis:
The moment Grey Kelleher locks eyes with All-Star shortstop Chase Whitfield, she's a goner. For years, she's watched him play on TV, and now she's gazing at his hard, lean body across a bar in her hometown.

Grey's crush on Chase goes all the way back to his rookie season. So when she approaches him for an autograph, she's startled by what a jerk he can be.

Chase is no mood to humor his fans, even one as alluring as Grey. He's in the last year of his contract and stuck having to prove himself on a minor league team. He's only there to rehab an injury, nothing more.

But when Grey tells him off, Chase realizes her fiery spirit may be just the distraction he needs to take his mind off not being in the majors. His heart is safe. No one's going to break his streak as baseball's most eligible bachelor. Not even someone as irresistible as Grey.

Author Bio:
Collette West grew up as somewhat of a jock-nerd hybrid. Entering the world three weeks premature, her dad nearly missed her birth because he had seats behind the dugout for a sold-out, highly-anticipated match-up between two of baseball's biggest rivals. Not to be outdone, her book-loving mom taught her how to read by the time she was three. A love of the game coupled with an appreciation for the written word were instilled in Collette's impressionable brain from a young age. No wonder her characters believe in the philosophy: sports + romance = a little slice of heaven.

Splitting her time between the Pocono Mountains and Manhattan, Collette indulges her inner fangirl by going to as many games as she can from hockey to baseball and downloading every sports romance novel in existence onto her iPad. When she's not clicking away on her laptop, she enjoys walking her dog in Central Park, satisfying her caffeine craving at the Starbucks on Broadway and keeping an eye out for Mr. Right. But above all, she loves dishing with her readers. Email her at collette_west@yahoo.com.

MY REVIEW

I love sports romances, but I haven't actually read any new adult ones before Night Games, so I was pretty excited for it, and I ended up really enjoying it! I did have some minor issues with the book, but overall, I thought it was a really enjoyable story. :)

While I did enjoy the story, there were two issues that I had that kept me from going from really liking it to loving it. The first was that Chase was quite contradictory at the beginning of the book, and he was such a douchebag in his own head that it was pretty hard to like him at first. He did change though, but I have to admit, that I was kind of unsure about him because he didn't seem very consistent...which is a bit odd when you're getting his POV. The second issue I had was Grey's plans for the future. She talks about not wanting to be dependent on a man, and her dad even mentions wanting something better for her...yet she has no actual plans for her future at all, and seems perfectly content to continue working in retail at the mall. It just seemed a bit strange to me that both Grey and her father were so expressive about her prospects, when she didn't really have any...or even plans, or even a relative idea of something beyond what she was already doing.

The Chase issue stopped bugging me within a few chapters because it seemed to fit more of his public persona than anything else, and the Grey issue only bugged me once her father showed up near the last third of the book, so they weren't issues that made me hate the book or anything. Like I said before, I actually really enjoyed it. :) Once he became more consistent, I loved Chase, and I just wanted to help him through his tough times soooo bad! And I really loved Grey! I loved that she wasn't afraid to stand up for herself or make her own choices, and she didn't let others influence or pressure her. It's definitely great to see a strong main character like her, even if she has no plans for the future. :P

I loved both Chase and Grey separately, but I also loved them together! Their chemistry was fantastic, and I really enjoyed how Collette West established their relationship. It was done quickly, but also in a way that made it feel authentic, and intimate. I also really liked that even though Chase and Grey were both super stubborn, they did get get better at facing their problems...and were actually able to talk them through. They might have walked away from each other at times to cool off, but they were open to talking, and they ended up being really great at communicating by the end of the book, which I really appreciated! And I seriously loved that they were willing to make the first move, too...it's nice to see characters actively trying to fix things in their relationships instead of just wallowing.

Overall, I thought that Night Games was a quick, and enjoyable read! I think it's one that it's best not to over-analyze (since I did read this one after a book for one of my English classes, and I find that sometimes puts me in a more critical reading mood :P), and instead it should just be enjoyed! I'd recommend this one to fans of romances with athletes or celebrities (in the novel, Chase definitely counts as both :P), especially if you love intense chemistry and characters who have a lot in common. :)

EXCERPT & QUOTE SET

Excerpt:

“Grey, we’re in this together. I don’t know how much clearer I can make it. That stuff with Stanley is over, forgotten. He has no claim on you anymore. You belong to me now.”

His body collapses onto mine as his lips find my shoulder. Struggling to find a position that doesn’t cause him pain, he quickly grabs my pillow and shoves it under his knee. But he’s determined to do this as his teeth grab my shirt, guiding it down. I moan as his tongue finds my collarbone.

All I’ve wanted since we left New York was to continue what we started, and after last night’s fiasco, I was afraid I’d put it all in jeopardy. That I would never again get to nibble on his bottom lip or feel his ribs expand and contract beneath my fingers. It’s almost too good to be true that things are actually going to work out, that we’re back on track and moving in the right direction.

I never thought I’d wake up this morning to find him wanting to make love to me in my own bed. I wasn’t even sure he’d still be here when I got up. I gasp when his nose touches that delicate place behind my right ear. He remembered. It’s thrilling that he already knows those special places on my body that turn me on.

Tea Tuesdays! (5): Today's Tea is...MINT TO BE!

I'm totally obsessed with tea, so every Tuesday, I'm sharing one of my favourites...and maybe sometimes something just totally awesome and tea-related.
Recently my biggest tea obsession has been loose tea! If you're new to loose tea, check out my first Tea Tuesday post and see how easy it is to brew! You can also click my "Tea Tuesdays!" button above to see my previous tea posts! :D
TODAY'S TEA IS DAVIDsTEA's MINT TO BE!!!

Mint to Be is one of DAVIDsTEA's newer flavours (not a seasonal one though, it's year-round!), and I just recently got myself some a few weeks ago when the new spring flavours came out...and it is delicous!! I'm a huge fan of mint and peppermint, so I wasn't too surprised that I liked this one! haha It also has some caffeine, so it helps to perk me up in the mornings, too...and sometimes I definitely need that. ;)

This is what Mint to Be looks like:

And this is what DAVIDsTEA has to say about Mint to Be:
TOGETHER FOREVER
It’s no secret that some of our best ideas come from our customers. So when you guys asked David for a minty black tea, he knew he had to deliver. He took a rich base of black tea and cool peppermint, and added a creamy hint of coconut. To top it all off, he asked our customers to help him name it. We got tons of amazing name ideas, then everyone voted for their fave. We hope you all love the result as much as we do. Trust us – you and this tea are simply mint to be together.
INGREDIENTS
Organic: black tea, peppermint, blue cornflower petals, coconut flakes. With natural flavoring*.
Like a lot of black teas, Mint to Be ends up a rich red-to-blackish colour, like this:

I just absolutely love Mint to Be! It's definitely one of my newer favourites! And if you're a mint fan like I am, you'll probably love this one, too! :D

What do you think?
Does Mint to Be sound delicious to you?

Mani Monday (5): Matte-ify This!!

It's Monday again, so it's time for another Mani Monday! Today, my manicure is all about the glitter and the pop power!

The polishes I used for today's mani are Julep's "Marjorie" and "Isla", and New York Color's Matte top coat!

For anyone interested in becoming a Julep maven, I'm just going to start posting a disclaimer and referral link in any of the posts where I mention Julep. :P So, you can use my referral link: Become a Julep Maven! And you can get your first Maven box free! Just make sure to put FREEBOX (all one word) in the promo code box. Note: the link I've used is a referral link of my own, so I do get rewarded "Jules" per referral, but if you're really interested in signing up as a maven, I'd really appreciate you using my link. Even if you don't though, make sure you remember the code or your first box won't be free. :)

Here are the polishes!

I ended up using "Marjorie" as my base coat, and then doing a strip of "Isla", a metallic shade that's kind of in between white and silver down the centre of each nail. It wasn't as neat as it could've been, but I still was pretty happy with how it turned out. After I let the coats of colour dry a bit, I put on my NYC Matte top coat...which I actually kind of loved!

Here's how it turned out:

I have used matte coloured polishes before, and I'm not usually a fan. I find them very clumpy and difficult to apply, so this top coat is perfect! It goes on like a regular top coat, and makes the colour appear as a matte finish....so awesome!! :D

What do you think?
Are you a fan of Matte polish, and have you ever tried a Matte top coat?

Cover Catch-Up (5): Black Ice, Oblivion, & Fiendish!

In "Cover Catch-Up" I share some covers that have either been recently revealed, or that I've just found and really wanted to share.

Today, I've got three covers for you!!! :D

The first is for Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick!!!

Wowza! This cover is gorgeous, and the book sounds AMAZING!!! I already can't wait to read it! :D Becca Fitzpatrick always has such wonderful covers, and this one is definitely no exception!! :D I love the way you can even see the cover model's breath....such a small, but attentive detail!

The next cover I have to share is for Oblivion (Nevermore #3) by Kelly Creagh!

I absolutely LOVED the first book in this trilogy/series?? (I'm honestly not even sure at this point :P), but ended up seriously disliking the second one because it went on and on, and there was almost nothing that actually happened in the book. It was pretty disappointing to say the least, but I'm hopeful that the third book can turn things around. I believe this one is a trilogy, but I haven't heard anything about it for a while, so I'm not really sure anymore, but I'm definitely hopeful that the third one will be better. And even though I disliked how much the second book dragged, I still seriously adored Kelly Creagh's writing style. I also think these covers are gorgeous...and they match super well! I love how this cover in particular almost looks like an aged and crumpled up photo! :)

And the final cover I have to share today is for Fiendish by Brenna Yovanoff!!!

I seriously LOVE Brenna Yovanoff! Her books are so creepy, and so captivating...I just love 'em, and this cover seriously looks like it's going to fit in with the style of her previous books very nicely. ;) I think it looks super creepy, yet absolutely gorgeous at the same time...and you just KNOW this book is gonna be shiny, which I must admit, I seriously have a soft spot for. ;) haha

What do you think?
Are you a fan of these covers?

Fangirl Fridays(4): DIVERGENT!

"Fangirl Fridays" is pretty self-explanatory: you fangirl about something/someone on Fridays. :) It's a meme-of-sorts that's seen on a lot of tumblr blogs, and I thought it would be a fantastic idea to bring to my blog! I couldn't find someone specific to credit, so whoever first thought of "Fangirl Fridays"...you are awesome! :D I love to fangirl so I'm definitely excited for this!

TODAY IS THE OFFICIAL THEATRICAL OPENING OF DIVERGENT FOR CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES!!! :D I'm not sure where else it releases today and when it releases for everywhere else, but hopefully if you're somewhere that it isn't opening in yet, you won't have to wait too long!

I saw it last night...and it was amazing! I seriously just loved it! I wasn't too sure about Shailene Woodley at first, but she really grew on me, and I can totally picture her as Tris...and Theo. *dreamy sigh* I seriously remember thinking he was too old when he was cast as Four, but I told myself to just wait and see what he could do, and once I saw a trailer for the film I was sold...and he was even better in the whole movie. Seriously, I loved Theo James as Four! He's so freaking perfect as Four...and I think I'm definitely going to have to go and watch absolutely EVERY movie and such that's he's been in now because he is awesome. :P I really enjoyed Shailene, too, but Theo was definitely my favourite! haha

I was trying to find fun Theo James memes, and these are the ones I loved the most! haha

I thought that they did a pretty good job at remaining faithful to the book, too. They did change some stuff, but nothing that really bothered me, and the scenes that I loved the most were done so well...and I loved them so much. The whole capture the flag and ferris wheel scene in particular was awesome, as were all of the scenes between Tris and Four!! And the serum sequences were amazing, and so stunning! I just loved how the filmmakers brought them to life!! :D

I also got myself the soundtrack the other day, and was getting pumped listening to it yesterday before I went to see the movie. I didn't even realize that there was a regular edition, and a deluxe one, but luckily the deluxe edition was the one I got, and the music is fantastic! :)

So to sum up that fangirling gush-fest, I loved the DIVERGENT movie...and the soundtrack, too!!

And I'll just leave you with this. ;)

Have you seen it yet?
If you have, what do you think?
And if you haven't, are you planning to see it?
And just in general, are you a fan of book-to-movie adaptations?

CHARACTER INTERVIEW:

DAISY & RYKE

And here's my interview with Daisy and Ryke! :D I've underlined my questions, and Ryke and Daisy's names are before each of their answers! ENJOY!!! :D

--------------------------------------------------

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, Daisy and Ryke! It’s fantastic to have you here! :D
Ryke: Thanks…*watches Daisy sit cross-legged on the chair*
Daisy: *catches him watching and smiles* “What?”
Ryke: *shakes his head and looks back at Ambur* “Just to warn you, she’s going to be moving a lot during this interview. She can’t fucking sit still.”
Daisy: *looks to Ambur* “Just to warn you, he’s going to curse a lot.” *turns to Ryke* “And just to warn you, we’re not being filmed.”
Ryke: “They could be describing what we’re fucking doing outside of the quotes.”
Daisy: *scoots chair closer to Ryke and wraps her arm around his waist*
Ryke: *gives her a look* “You’re pushing it, Calloway.” *leaving her arm around him, he looks to Ambur again* “What’s the first question?”

I’m going to start with a nice easy question, what was your first thought when you two met?
Ryke: “Who’s that crazy fucking chick?”
Daisy: *smiles* “Really?”
Ryke: “No.”
Daisy: “Well, I thought he was hot.”
Ryke: *brushes her arm off his waist* “She was fifteen when I first met her.”
Daisy: “He was twenty-two.” *unties her shoelace and starts making a braid*
Ryke: *points at Daisy* “What’d I tell you? And we’re only two fucking minutes in.”

What’s your favourite thing about each other?
Ryke: *runs hand through his hair* “My brother is going to fucking kill me.”
Daisy: “It’s my ass, isn’t it?”
Ryke: “It’s not your ass.”
Daisy: “My hair?”
Ryke: “Definitely not your fucking hair.”
Daisy: “I give up.”
Ryke: “But you still have every fucking body part to go?” *pulls her close to check the time on her watch (he’s not wearing one)* “We only have three thousand more fucking hours.”
Daisy: “My favorite thing about Ryke is his sarcasm and profanity.”
Ryke: *rolls eyes* “Next question.”

Even though you’ve got a bit of an age gap between you, you’re amazing friends, why do you think you get along so well?
Daisy: *glances at Ryke while she pulls off the second shoe string* “Are we amazing?”
Ryke: “No, we’re horrible fucking friends.”
Daisy: “Thought so.” *nudges his shoulder with her elbow* “We should probably answer this one straight.”
Ryke: *shrugs* “She’s fun to hang out with…I don’t know. We both just don’t give a shit about the media, no offense.”
Daisy: “And we both like jumping off cliffs.” *grins mischievously*
Ryke: *watches her braid the second shoelace* “That too.”

How difficult has it been for both of you dealing with your siblings’ addictions?
Ryke: *pauses* “It’s not easy.”
Daisy: *looks over her shoulder* “Hey, is that a water fountain? Do you mind if I…?” *gets up to get a drink*
Ryke: “She doesn’t like to talk about Lily’s addiction to the press.”

Are you excited that people finally get to read your story in Hothouse Flower?
Daisy: *returns with two cups of water and passes one to Ryke* “Oh yeah.” *takes a sip and sets the cup on the floor* “It’s going to be freeing, you know?”
Ryke: *a brief smile escapes as he looks at Daisy* “Yeah, I’m happy about it.”

QUICK! Random question time! And feel free to explain if you like! :)
Coffee or Tea?
Ryke: “Coffee.”
Daisy: “Coffee, but I love energy drinks and prefer Lightning Bolt! because it tastes so good.”
Ryke: *raises his brows at her* “Like that plug wasn’t obvious.” (Lightning Bolt! is made by Fizzle, a world-renowned soda company founded by Greg Calloway, Daisy’s father.)
Daisy: “Shh, my dad will be happy and you could use some brownie points.” *smiles bright*
Ryke: “How about I just make you fucking brownies?”
Daisy: “I love your fucking brownies.”
Ryke: *shakes head* “Next.”

Reading or Watching TV?
Ryke: “Watching TV.”
Daisy: “Like Naked and Afraid. And Blue Lagoon.”
Ryke: “Blue Lagoon isn’t a television show.”
Daisy: *mock gasps* “It isn’t? What lies have I been fed?!” *stands up on the chair theatrically* “Wha—” *the chair teeters and it slips beneath her. Ryke stands and catches her before she face plants.*
Ryke: “How about sitting on your ass this time?”
Daisy: “Can my ass sit on your lap?”
Ryke: “Let’s try the chair first.”

Dog or Cat?
*everyone is back in their seats*
Ryke: “Dog.”
Daisy: “Ditto.”

Being along or in a group?
Ryke: “Either.”
Daisy: “A group. I don’t like being alone.”

Chocolate or candy?
Ryke: “If I don’t say chocolate, Daisy might fucking kill me.”
Daisy: “Chocolate is sex.”
Ryke: *shakes head* “No it’s not.”
Daisy: *smiles wide*

Night or Day?
Ryke: “Night.”
Daisy: “Day.”
Ryke: *hesitates* “She hates nighttime.”
Daisy: “It’s not my favorite thing.”
Ryke: “That’s a fucking understatement.”

Summer or Winter?
Ryke: “Summer. The weather is better to climb.”
Daisy: “Summer.” *concentrates on the second shoelace braid*

Do you have anything else you’d like to say?
Daisy: *distracted, she pulls Ryke closer and snatches his hand.* “This is for you.”
Ryke: *watches her tie the lace around his wrist and then she ties one around hers.* “Cute. But how are you going to walk without shoelaces, sweetheart?”
Daisy: *kicks her shoes off* “Barefoot.”
Ryke: “Not fucking surprised.”

Thanks again for taking the time to visit! I’ve loved having you both here, and I’m extremely excited to read your story in Hothouse Flower!!
Daisy: *stands and waves* “Thanks for having us!”
Ryke: *grabs her around the waist and throws her over his shoulder. She laughs, and he kicks the door open as they leave*

Book Description:

Divided by day and night and on the run from authorities, star-crossed young lovers unearth a sinister conspiracy in this compelling romantic thriller.

Seventeen-year-old Soleil Le Coeur is a Smudge—a night dweller prohibited by law from going out during the day. When she fakes an injury in order to get access to and kidnap her newborn niece—a day dweller, or Ray—she sets in motion a fast-paced adventure that will bring her into conflict with the powerful lawmakers who order her world, and draw her together with the boy she was destined to fall in love with, but who is also a Ray.

Set in a vivid alternate reality and peopled with complex, deeply human characters on both sides of the day-night divide, Plus One is a brilliantly imagined drama of individual liberty and civil rights, and a fast-paced romantic adventure story.

MY THOUGHTS

I absolutely loved Elizabeth Fama's Monstrous Beauty! I really loved that it was about mermaids, but most of all, I just absolutely adored Elizabeth Fama's writing style! It was beautiful, and quickly drew me into the story, so as soon as I heard about her newest book, Plus One, I knew I had to read it! After seeing the gorgeous cover, and reading the description, I was quickly sold! I seriously CANNOT wait to read Plus One! :D

What about you?
Are you a fan of Elizabeth Fama?
Is Plus One on your to-read list?
And what are you waiting for this week?

Tea Tuesdays! (4): Today's Tea is...GOJI POP!

 Welcome to Tea Tuesdays!

Today's tea is DAVIDsTEA's GOJI POP

Goji Pop is one of my absolute favourites! It's sweet, and fruity, but it's also light, too! It's perfect for hot or cold tea, and you can drink it with or without sugar...which is pretty rare for me because I have a pretty big soft spot for sugar in my tea. ;) haha

Here's what it looks like:

Look at all of those berries...DELICIOUS! :D

Here's what DAVIDsTEA has to say about Goji Pop:
SPRING ETERNAL
Legend has it that Li Ching-Yuen was born in China in 1677 and died 256 years later in New York. His secret? Goji berries. Your secret? This hot pink tea filled with sweet, sweet goji berries, rosehips, citrusy lemon oil, apple, melon, marigold and hibiscus. It’s probably the most delicious longevity formula ever. Which is key, since you’ll be popping it for the next two centuries. Caffeine-free.

INGREDIENTS

Apple, goji berries, hibiscus, rosehips, honeydew melon, marigold petals. With artificial flavouring*.
Since I got myself thinking about iced and hot tea with Goji Pop, I decided to make both! :D

For hot tea, I used my DAVIDsTEA Perfect Mug! :D

For my iced tea, I steeped Goji Pop in my steeper, and then I transferred it to my tea canteen and put it in the fridge with some ice cubes to make it nice and cold! I leave it in the fridge until I'm ready to drink it later, sometimes I wait a few hours, or if I make it at night, I drink it the morning after. :) Before I sealed my tea canteen up tight, I took a picture of the bright pink colour of Goji Pop to show you all! :D

What I love about Goji Pop is the fact that it's both delicious, and really good for you! Plus, it's one of those teas that's naturally sweet, which helps me cut back on the amount of sugar I put in my tea, too! :)

What tea are you drinking this week?
And does Goji Pop sound like your cup of tea? ;)

Cover Catch-Up (4): Last, But Certainly NOT Least!

In "Cover Catch-Up" I share some covers that have either been recently revealed, or that I've just found and really wanted to share.

Both of the fabulous covers I have to share today are for the final books in their respective trilogies, and I'm seriously excited for both of them! :D

The first cover is for UNRAVELED (Crewel World #3) by Gennifer Albin!

This series did get a total cover revamp after the first book, but I have to admit, while the original cover of Crewel was pretty, I do love these new covers, and Unraveled's is gorgeous!!! :D

The second cover I'm sharing today is for THE VAST AND BRUTAL SEA (The Vicious Deep #3) by !

The Vast and Brutal Sea is the third book in The Vicious Deep trilogy by

What do you think?
Do you love Unraveled's and The Vast and Brutal Sea's covers, too?
