It's Monday, What Are You Reading? (56)

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, is a bookish meme hosted by One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It’s a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over to Journey and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books I Read Last Week:

I really liked this one. :) I'm doing a review for it for Bewitching Book Tours, so you can expect that in the next couple weeks. I jumped at the chance to read Static because it sounded so cool...and it was pretty awesome, and very unique. :)
Loved this! Tortured is a free novella that bridges between Birthmarked and Prized, and it's in Leon's POV! You can download it from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other online ebook retailers. :) It isn't very long, but I still really liked getting read something from Leon's POV. :D

Yay! I finally finished all three of the books we were required to read for class. I thought books 1 and 2 were pretty good, but I wasn't a fan of book 4...that one was just kind of stupid. I liked the ideas of it, but some of the things that Gulliver said just made me shake my head, and I could definitely tell that Swift was satirizing him as a character...or at least I hope so because seriously he said some really weird things. :P

Reading Now:
I have to hurry my butt up and finish this because I have to return it, but so far so good. :)

Another one I need to read soon! This one for my final, so it takes priority over Cold Kiss. :P

Books I Want to Read This Week:

I didn't get to this one this past week, but I hope to get to it soon! :D

And what are you reading???

Check out One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to see what other people are reading. :)

Happy Reading!!!

  1. In The Skin Of A Lion sounds like a good read.
    Here's mine:

  2. I just finished Catching Jordan and I liked it a lot. I am searching for something else now, still, I should read The Maze Runner. I started it a while ago and didn't get to finish it.

I like the cover of Tortured - looks promising :)

  3. Just stopped by to wish you a great reading week!
