I finally met up with my friend Cassie (from Vamps, Weres, and Cassay) and got my copies of Incarnate and Asunder from her, too. :) I also bought a few Kobo books with some coupons when I got home. I definitely can't wait to read these! :D

So, those are the books that I've gotten over the past few weeks.

Kobo Aura HD (in espresso) (from Kobo Books)

I was completely surprised this week earlier with an offer from Kobo Books to experience the new Kobo Aura HD, and I jumped at the chance. So, they've provided me with a sample! Eek! :D I was reading on it just last night (it's totally the reason I put off on writing this StS post! haha), and I'm really enjoying it so far. Once I've used it a bit more, I'll share what I think about it with you all. :)

 Bought:

The Rising (Darkness Rising #3) by Kelley Armstrong (Book Depository/pre-order)
Locked (The Alpha Group #1) by Maya Cross (Amazon Kindle Store)
The Bet by Rachel Van Dyken (Amazon Kindle Store)

Damaged (Damaged #1) by H.M. Ward (Amazon Kindle Store)

My copy of The Rising came! Yay! :D I meant to read it last week, but with exams I didn't really have time. I also succumbed to Kindle sales this week...but they were all around $0.99 (sometimes Kindle books end up being like $0.97 or $1.01 in Canada...I'm guessing it's the exchange rate, but I'm really not sure :P), so I don't feel too bad. :P If I'm gonna buy books, at least I'm gonna buy ones that I really wanted that are on sale...after all, 3 of these were already on my wishlist, but the last one, Damaged, was a new discovery. :)

Thank you to Simon and Schuster Canada, Jennifer Iacopelli, Xpresso Book Tours, and of course, Kobo Books (thank you, Laura, specifically! :D). :)

I absolutely loved The Vicious Deep, so I can't wait to read The Savage Blue. :D And I'm really looking forward to Kelly Oram's Chameleon! :D

Bought:

Documentary (Documentary #1) by A.J. Sand (Amazon - Canada: $0.99)
Forever Changed by Tiffany King (Amazon - Canada: $1.01)

Plastic Hearts by Lisa De Jong (Amazon - Canada: $3.04)
Scornfully Yours (Torn #1) by Pamela Ann (Amazon - Canada: $4.06)

All of these were from the Amazon Kindle Store...there was a bunch of sales around Easter weekend and I just couldn't resist! I'm definitely going to have to stop buying ebooks for a while though because even at discounted price (if I remember correctly all of them were around $0.99)...eleven in one week is a bit ridiculous. :P I may have a one-click ebook buying problem. lol

*The prices are for Amazon.ca's Kindle Store (as of April 6th, 2013), to get to Amazon.com just change the .ca in the URL to .com, and for UK, change it to .co.uk.

Thanks to Netgalley and all of the authors who put their books up for sale on Amazon. ;)

I couldn't resist picking up a few awesome books when I was at Walmart earlier this week...and I just had to stop at Chapters to pick up Boundless! I'm REALLY excited for these ones, and I've already started Boundless...and I'm loving it! I had to take a break to read a couple of books for class, but I can't wait to get back to it! :D

Stacking the Shelves (16)

Stacking the Shelves is Tynga's Reviews' version of In My Mailbox (from The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie).

Stacking the Shelves is a way to share the books that you're adding to your physical and virtual bookshelves. It's easy to participate. You just make your own post, and link it to the main post over at Tynga's Reviews. Also, in case you're curious, Tynga's post for it goes up on Saturdays, but you can post it any day that you like. :) You can find out more about participating by reading the Stacking the Shelves Launch post.

Since I didn't post last week, this StS is what I got in the past 2 weeks. :)

For Review:

Things I Can't Forget (Hundred Oaks #3) by Miranda Kenneally (from Xpresso Book Tours)

Hunger (Riders of the Apocalypse #1) by Jackie Morse Kessler (won from Zoe at In the Next Room)

I've already read this one, and I have a copy, so I'm sharing it with someone for Christmas....shhhh. I won't tell you who I'm going to give it to though, that way it'll still be a surprise. ;) This is an amazing series though, so I'd definitely recommend starting it! :D
