It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, is a bookish meme hosted by One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It’s a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over to Journey and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.
Books I Read Last Week:
- Things I Can't Forget (Hundred Oaks #3) by Miranda Kenneally
- Boundless (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand
Reading Now:
- Home to Harlem by Claude McKay
- Playing Along by Rory Samantha Green
Books I Want to Read This Week:
- The Dog of the South by Charles Portis
This is another book for school, and it sounds like it'll be a rough ride. ;P haha Oh the puns...I'm reading this for my American Lit class on American technologies...specially cars, and as you can guess this book involves cars, hence the pun. lol Hopefully I'll enjoy it as much as I liked On the Road. :)
And what are you reading???
Check out One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to see what other people are reading. :)
Happy Reading!!!

I'm glad you liked Things I Can't Forget! I entered it feeling pretty uneasy and not really liking the main character, but really liked it in the end. There's something just so appealing about Miranda's books.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week -- hope you get some reading in!
It's definitely a lot more serious than both Stealing Parker and Catching Jordan were...although they weren't really super light reads either. :P I'm glad I liked it, too. I love Miranda Kenneally, so I would've been sad if I hadn't. I definitely agree! :)
DeleteThanks, Kristilyn! I hope you enjoy yours, too!
Just looking at your list makes me mad at myself for not reading certain books. I keep trying to get to Catching Jordan so I can keep going with the series. I own all 3 books and still haven't read it. And for some reason Boundless keeps getting pushed back too.

Awe, well hopefully you'll get the chance to read them all soon! :D I know what you mean though. Seeing books you want to read all over the place makes you wish you'd read it already! ;D
DeleteBoundless, Boundless, Boundless! Yay! It was freaking AWESOME!!
ReplyDeletehaha I'm not quite that enthusiastic about it. I did love it though. I could've loved it more though, but I'm satisfied. :P haha
