It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, is a bookish meme hosted by One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It’s a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over to Journey and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books I Read Last Week:
- Playing Hooky (Paranormal Investigations #1) by Rita Webb
This novella starts off Rita Webb's Paranormal Investigations series, and I really really enjoyed it! It was a pretty short story, really fast-paced and I loved it! I'm looking forward to reading more of this series, and I'll hopefully have a review for this one up some time soon. :)

- The Next Forever (Pretty Amy #1.5) by Lisa Burstein

Reading Now:
- Spartacus by Lewis Grassic Gibbon
- Boundless (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand

Books I Want to Read This Week:

I actually couldn't resist it last night and ended up starting it after I posted this...and so far, it totally is! :D Thanks! I hope you have a great reading week, too! :D
DeleteI've heard so often the title of the movie Spartacus. It looks like Ben Hur??? I don't know the plot. I wonder what's it about. Have a good reading week.
ReplyDeleteThere are actually two books titled Spartacus...and it's the other one that the movie is based on. That one basically follows Spartacus's life and the slaves revolt (or so I've heard), and this one has a bunch of narrators and kind of hops around a lot between characters. Ben Hur and Spartacus do have some similarities, so you're right in comparing them. The plot is basically the rise and revolt of the slaves against their Roman masters. If you want to know more, you can always google it. ;) haha Thanks, and I hope you do, too! :D
DeleteWe have Boundless at my library - VERY popular :) Have a lovely reading week :)
