In My Mailbox (30)

In My Mailbox at The Story Siren

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, and inspired by her friend, Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. It's a way to share the books that you've received over the past week. They could come from the bookstore, the library, a friend, your mailbox or wherever. It gives us all a chance to showcase the books that we've gotten, and maybe give others an idea for the book they want to read or buy next. :)

For Review:

Long Night Moon (Seasons of the Moon #3) by S.M. Reine (from the author for review)
Trying to Score by Toni Aleo (from the author for the blog tour)
Rock On by Denise Vega (from Hachette Book Groupo Canada)
Across the Universe (Across the Universe #1) by Beth Revis (from Penguin Canada/Razorbill)
Playground by 50 Cent (from Penguin Canada/Razorbill)
Half World (Half World #1) by Hiromi Goto (from Penguin Canada/Razorbill)

I'm super excited for Long Night Moon, Trying to Score, and Rock On. :D I've already read and reviewed Across the Universe, so I'll be giving this copy away, and Playground and Half World I may give away, too. I haven't quite decided yet though. So, you can definitely expect a giveaway soon thanks to Razorbill and Penguin Canada, but it'll be a surprise as to which ones I decide to give away for sure. :P

Bought:

Remembrance (Transcend Time #1) by Michelle Madow
Vengeance (Transcend Time #1.5) by Michelle Madow
The Hungry Mouth by Isaac Marion
The Fine Art of Truth or Dare by Melissa Jensen

Remembrance was on sale for Kindle this week, so I bought a copy, and picked up Vengeance at the same time. :) I actually got The Hungry Mouth last week in the mail, but since that was all I got I decided just to wait and post it with this week's stuff. I'm excited for it though, it sounds interesting. :P And my pre-ordered copy of The Fine Art of Truth or Dare showed up, too...yay! :D

Thank you to S.M. Reine, Toni Aleo, AToMR Blog Tours, Hachette Book Group Canada, and Penguin Canada/Razorbill! :)

So, my mailbox was pretty good this week, how was yours? :)
Feel free to leave a link to your IMM in the comments.

  3. As I mentioned in my post...I actually have already read Across the Universe, which is why I'm planning on giving this copy away. :P And to be honest, Playground doesn't really interest me, so I'll probably be giving that one away, too. Happy Reading to both of you, too. :)

  4. oh wow nice batch of books this week! How's the paperback of AtU? I had an ARC I'm pretty sure I gave away but I've been buying so many finished hardcovers lately (Prized, Hallowed/Unearthly, and a couple more I think, though I keep sending them to Montreal which tricks me into feeling like I haven't bought books :P)that it might be a good idea to get another series in paperback. Though I'm such a sucker for hardcovers. Well, MAYBE I'LL JUST ENTER YOUR GIVEAWAY. :)

  5. Ya, not bad at all. :) It's really nice actually. Not too big, and the cover's pretty. Plus, it has this cool thing in the Acknowledgments where any Facebook fans from before 11/11/11 have their names in there...so cool! :D Ya, you gave it to me. :P I think it'd be a good one to get a PB copy of. :) (haha very nice :P) I'm a sucker, too! You should, you might just win it! :D
