DESCRIPTION
If your ex arrives in your hometown eighteen months after you walked out on him while you were eight months pregnant, follow this short list of rules before you give him a second chance.
Rule #1 – Don’t stand in the way of your brothers who want to rough him up.
Rule #2 – Don’t meet him for coffee and agree to allow him to meet your daughter.
Rule #3 – Don’t drool when your daughter falls asleep on his chest for the first time. It’s just your ovaries talking.
Rule #4 – Don’t let him hold your hand. While we’re at it, no hugs, no kisses on the cheek… just no physical contact in general. That only leads to remembering better times.
The last one is the most important…
Rule #5 – When you find yourself needing someone’s help and you’re tired of always asking your family, don’t let him be the one who’s there for you.
Because all those good qualities of his will suck you right back in and you’ll have no chance of fighting your feelings, especially now that he’s ready to be a father to your daughter.

REVIEW
I can't believe we're
already on Rules for Dating Your Ex, the ninth and final full length book in The Baileys
series...it's been an amazing ride, and I've loved all of these books so
much!!! I've truly loved seeing all of the Bailey siblings find love,
and I've really loved seeing how their family has grown and changed
throughout the books. Sedona and Jamison are actually the couple that
we've seen snippets of right from the start and their second chance
romance has been building for a while now...and it was so worth the
wait!
Rules for Dating Your Ex would definitely work as a standalone, but I did love knowing the characters already from the previous books in this series. In fact, I loved that we've gotten to see Sedona and Jamison in the early books, and that we've had seen a bit of where they were at throughout the past books. It made it so much sweeter to get their actual story, and I'm so happy with what Piper and Rayne put together. It was so fantastic to see even deeper into their past, and to see them get closer and overcome what tore them apart. Jamison has grown so much since Sedona walked away from him, and it was so lovely to see the two of them come together for their daughter.

Overall, I thought that Rules for Dating Your Ex was wonderful! While I'm sad that this series is drawing to a close, I've loved it every step of the way! I also love that while this wraps the last full length story in The Baileys series (there's a novella coming in the next little while though in case you hadn't heard yet :D), we're still going to get to see bits of Lake Starlight when Piper and Rayne release books in their upcoming planned series, The Greene Family, which takes place in Alaska in Sunrise Bay...one town over from Lake Starlight! It's such a relief that we still may get to see some of our favourite Alaskans in cameos in future books! If you love romantic comedies that are sweet, sexy, and super heartwarming, but haven't started The Baileys series yet, then I highly recommend you check it out! Whether you start right from the start, or dip in-and-out based on your favourite tropes, I think you'll absolutely love it! :)
