It's Monday, What Are You Reading? (74)

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, is a bookish meme hosted by One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It’s a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over to Journey and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books I Read Last Week:
Zoë and I finished this one for our buddy read this week, and I absolutely loved it! :)

This one was a short story that Sarah Rees Brennan had published in a magazine. You can read it online. It was a short story, but I found it really interesting. :) It makes me want to check out more short stories. :)

I finally read through this short story by Edgar Allan Poe. I wanted to make sure that I read it before I read Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin, so now I'm all ready for it! I really liked it, but I'm not surprised that I did...I do love Poe's sense of style, and finally reading this makes me want to crack into my copy of The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe. I've already read some, and I really enjoyed them, but I do have an awful lot left. ;)

Reading Now:
I finally started this series, and so far I'm really liking it. :) I've been kind of bouncing around books this week so I haven't read a lot of it yet, but I definitely liked what I've read so far of this one. :)

This ones an okay read for me so far. It hasn't really grabbed my interest though. I'm hoping I'll get into it soon. :)

Oh man! I just started this one last night and I've already devoured most of it! I'll probably finish before going to bed tonight to be honest. I just love Ellen Hopkins writing style. It's so beautiful, and it's so addictive. It just completely draws me in! Thankfully I already have Fallout from the library, so I won't have to wait long to read the next one. ;)

Books I Want to Read This Week:
So excited for this one! :D Eeek!

This is my next buddy read with Zoë, and I'm so excited for it! It sounds like an amazing story! :D

And what are you reading???

  1. you had so many posts go up at the same time I almost didn't find this :P

Also I think there was a glitch when you posted because Monstrous Beauty cuts off mid sentence.

That said, you had a good reading week too! I hope that While He Was Away heats up a bit, I've got it and was planning to read it soon, so I really want it to be good. And of course, yay for Glass and that's great that you have Fallout to dig into right away. I really loved it, and it was my first time reading a Hopkins with more than 2 points of view, which made me even more excited about Triangles since she does it really well!

And I've heard only amazing things about Masque (YA) so I hope you love it too! I'm excited for our next buddy read also. I'm about 2/3s done Zero so I'll probably start on it afterwards, maybe tomorrow or Wednesday :)

Happy reading and I hope you get lots more this week!

Also, I don't know about reading machine, but I did have a productive week... probably cause I didn't do nearly enough schoolwork :P

Mine was okay. I didn't actually get many books finished, but I did start quite a few. :P Yeah, I hope it heats up, too. She does do it really well, I'm looking forward to Fallout...just finished Glass! :D

Me, too. :D Which is good! Same here! Awesome, I'm gonna get it started soon now. :)

Thanks, Zoë! haha you're still a machine! In a very good way! haha :)
