Waiting on Wednesday (19): The Fall!!

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It gives us the chance to fangirl over all of the books that we can't wait to read!

THE FALL by Bethany Griffin

Hitting the shelves on October 7, 2014 from Greenwillow Books

Book Description:

Madeline Usher is doomed.

She has spent her life fighting fate, and she thought she was succeeding. Until she woke up in a coffin.

Ushers die young. Ushers are cursed. Ushers can never leave their house, a house that haunts and is haunted, a house that almost seems to have a mind of its own. Madeline’s life—revealed through short bursts of memory—has hinged around her desperate plan to escape, to save herself and her brother. Her only chance lies in destroying the house.

In the end, can Madeline keep her own sanity and bring the house down? The Fall is a literary psychological thriller, reimagining Edgar Allan Poe’s classic The Fall of the House of Usher.

Look for it- Fall 2014!

MY THOUGHTS

I loved Masque of the Red Death...and I still need to read its sequel, Dance of the Red Death, but I absolutely CANNOT wait to read The Fall!! :D It sounds dark and totally amazing...plus, just like Masque of the Red Death, it's a reimagination of Edgar Allan Poe's work! :D

Who else is excited for this one?
And what are you waiting for this Wednesday?
