VoxBox Review: The Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser #VoxBox

I don't post very many reviews that aren't book related, but I really couldn't pass up the chance to share this with you all. :)

A while back, I signed up for a website called Influenster, where you "turn your social influence into rewards," and if you have enough influence in certain areas, you can get chosen to receive VoxBoxes. Each VoxBox is different, and I've received two in total. This post is about the second one. Before, the bigger product box arrived, we were all sent a Mystery Vox Box with product samples, and we were supposed to guess what the product was. Unfortunately, my mystery box arrived a little late, and I ended up getting the bigger product box just a few days later.

The mystery product line was revealed to be Garnier Fructis's new Damage Eraser line! The line consists of Shampoo, Conditioner, Strength Reconstructing Butter, and Split Ends Bandage Serum.

Our smaller samples didn't have the reconstructing butter, but when we received the full products, they came like this:

I've tried all of the products now, and I have to say that they're fantastic!

They smell amazing, and I think they make a pretty big difference, especially the strength reconstructing butter. They left my hair soft, and silky. I also thought that the products were very easy to use since the instructions are really simple, and it's a very convenient line that you can use all at once. I really loved the strength reconstructing butter though, and I'm excited to use it again soon since it's recommended you use it weekly! :D

I do wish that the line also had something to help with frizz though...this winter is seriously causing brutal static for my hair lately! The hair serum helps with split ends, but not so much with frizz. That's just a personal issue though, but honestly, if you have tips to avoid static-y hair, I would love to hear them. ;)

Overall, I absolutely love the Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser line. It smells amazing, and left my hair feeling soft, refreshed, and silk smooth. My favourite product is definitely the Strength Reconstructing Butter though; it's amazing! :D

What do you think?
Does Garner Fructis's Damage Eraser line sound like a product you'd like to try?
And are you interester in Influenster? It used to require an invite to become a member, but you can just sign up on your own now. If you want me to still send you an invite though, let me know if the comments. :)

(**I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.)

CSN Stores Product Review

A couple of months ago I was contacted by a CSN representative about doing a review and/or giveaway on my blog with CSN Stores. I decided to do both so that I could tell you about my experiences with CSN and also give you all the opportunity to get something from their sites on your own. CSN has over 200 different sites, you can buys tonnes of things, like shelves, toys, or counter heigh stools.

Initially, I was going to pick a bookshelf, but certain items don't ship to Canada, so I picked a rolling duffle bag instead. I received my bag in the mail around a month ago, but I wanted to make sure I actually had the opportunity to use it before I reviewed it. I've used it a few times now while travelling back and forth from my hometown to the city where I go to school, so I feel like I can actually say something about using it now. :)

I'm going to talk about this bag, and then I'll tell you a little bit about my CSN experience. :)

First, I absolutely love the pattern of this bag, mine looks a little more blue than the picture, and I absolutely love how it looks. The only downside to this bag is that it's kind of heavy, and with all the snow around here you can't really wheel it right now when you're outside. It has a shoulder strap as well as the handles that you see in the picture though, so it's not too bad. I think it would be a perfect bag to use while travelling, and it definitely works to just take with you when you're going home for the weekend as well. The handle for when you're wheeling the bag is just amazing. It has a button so the handle stays in place until you push it, and it also doesn't slide up until you push it which is nice if you're just using it to stand up your bag. It has straps on the inside to hold your things in place and it has lots of handy little pockets too. This bag is great, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is in need of a bag, and who doesn't like wheels right?? :)

Now for my CSN experience. Well first, I loved that I was given this opportunity and that I can share the benefits with you guys through a giveaway sometime in the future. I also found their websites really easy to use. The one thing I'd like to bring to your attention is shipping though. CSN ships to the US and Canada, however, not all products can ship to Canada, which is what I want to tell you guys about. If you're in Canada and are planning on purchasing from CSN's stores make sure you are checking the products to see if they ship to Canada. You can find this out two ways. The first is when you click on the product, it will have a box that says 'ships to Canada' on the right hand side. The second way, and the most useful way to find out if an item ships to Canada is by selecting 'Ships to Canada' in the search sidebar on the left hand side after you've already searched for an item. Here are some screenshots so you can see it:

Product Description ^ See the little Canadian flag and Ships to Canada

Search Sidebar ^ See Ships To, I checked off Canada, and that's all you have to do :)
Well, that's all I really wanted to draw your attention to as far as ordering goes. Shipping can be a little costly, but that's to be expected from ordering bigger things online. I was really impressed with how quickly my item arrived though, it arrived at least a week before it was predicted to arrive, which was awesome. :D

Overall I think CSN Stores are fantastic to deal with, and there are so many things to choose from that you're bound to find something you'd like. They sites are incredibly easy to use and you can even choose a price range while you're searching, which I thought was really cool...I may have even played around with it a little bit. :P I hope that you guys found my review helpful, and that you're looking forward to a CSN giveaway, which will be Canada and US only, sorry to my International peeps, but CSN doesn't ship to any countries other than Canada and the US. But, don't worry, I'll keep having giveaways for you to enter in, so you won't  have to feel too left out.

Thank you Cameron from CSN Stores for contacting me. :)

* CSN provided a discount for a product of my choice if I reviewed it on my blog. This review is 100% my opinion and a reflection of my own personal experience with CSN stores.
