DESCRIPTION

From #1 New York Times bestselling phenomenon Sylvia Day comes a hotly anticipated and passionate new love story.

Once, I would never have imagined myself here. But I’m settled now. In a place I love, in a home I renovated, spending time with new friends I adore, and working a job that fulfills me. I am reconciling the past and laying the groundwork for the future.

Then Garrett Frost moves in next door.

He’s obstinate and too bold, a raging force of nature that disrupts the careful order of my life. I recognize the ghosts that haunt him, the torment driving him. Garrett would be risky in any form, but wounded, he’s far more dangerous. I fear I’m too fragile for the storm raging inside him, too delicate to withstand the pain that buffets him. But he’s too determined…and too tempting.

And sometimes hope soars above even the iciest desolation.

Emotional and heartrending, the Butterfly in Frost novella marks a brilliant return by global sensation Sylvia Day, the #1 international multimillion bestselling author of the Crossfire saga.

REVIEW

Sexy, emotional, and captivating!

The first time I read BUTTERFLY IN FROST, I didn't want to put it down. I was totally immersed, and couldn't wait to see what would happen next...and once I got to the ending, I immediately wanted to pick it up again and reread it! I resisted for a little while, and have finally just finished my reread and let me tell you, BUTTERFLY IN FROST is even better the second time. There are so many subtle hints and aspects to the story that just added extra facets and elements to the story when I reread it, and I thoroughly enjoyed looking for them all!

Garrett is sexy, he's absolutely enthralling, and he's even more attentive and amazing when you get to experience this book a second time, and Teagan. I loved her! She's definitely hurting, but boy is she brave and resilient. I loved, loved, loved seeing her open up and let Garrett in, and I really loved seeing the two of them come together and support each other. It was so good...and their chemistry was super steamy!

Keep in mind this is a novella, so it's shorter than many of Sylvia Day's other books, but I still thought that the romance was incredibly well done and I actually thought that as a novella it was super tight as a story and it had a lot more steamy parts than I expected...which I totally loved!

Highly recommend this one to anyone who already loves Sylvia Day, but also to anyone looking for a steamy, quick read that will pack quite a punch! BUTTERFLY IN FROST isn't a light fluffy read as both of the main characters are dealing with some pretty heavy emotional turmoil, but it's a very fulfilling read and it's sure to be one to entice readers who love romance, but also enjoy books that are full of surprises. ;)
