Tea Tuesdays! (3): Today's Tea is...RED VELVET CAKE!

 Welcome to Tea Tuesdays!
I'm totally obsessed with tea, so every Tuesday, I'm sharing one of my favourites...and maybe sometimes something just totally awesome and tea-related.

Recently my biggest tea obsession has been loose tea! If you're new to loose tea, check out my first Tea Tuesday post and see how easy it is to brew! You can also click my "Tea Tuesdays!" button above to see my previous tea posts! :D

Today's tea is DAVIDsTEA's RED VELVET CAKE

I'm definitely a big fan of sweet teas, and Red Velvet Cake is very sweet...it also definitely tastes just like cake that you would eat for dessert...it's delicious!

This one is really neat because it actually has chocolate, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles with the black tea, and it has beetroot which makes it a pretty colour! ;D I took that picture above so you could see what it looks like in the infuser for my perfect tea mug! :)

Here's what DAVIDsTEA has to say about Red Velvet Cake:
JUST DESSERT
What’s not to love about a red velvet cake? It’s chocolaty, it’s rich, and it’s bright red. We’re the first to admit it’s a pretty flashy dessert. If other cakes are birds of a feather, the red velvet is the peacock – which is exactly why we love it so much. And this sweet, lightly creamy black tea blend perfectly captures our favourite dessert. With semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, beetroot powder and little red sprinkles, it’s rich, delicious and a whole lot of fun.

INGREDIENTS
Black tea, semi-sweet chocolate bits, white chocolate bits, beetroot powder, sprinkles, natural and artificial flavouring

And here is what Red Velvet Cake looks like when it's brewed:

And check out my awesome mug!! DAVIDsTEA has their new spring collection out, and I picked up this adorable perfect tea mug when I went to get some of their new teas....I'm totally in love with it! It's so cute! :D

So, that's Red Velvet Cake! I really enjoy this one! It's sweet, comforting, and just super delicious! I also think it's the perfect tea when you're craving something sweet! :D

 What do you think?
Does Red Velvet Cake sound like a tea you'd like to try?
And what's your favourite kind of tea?

  1. I love Red Velvet Cake! And Red Velvet Cake tea sounds really good! Does it actually taste like red velvet? After reading all these tea posts from you, I am a bit tempted to see if I can order David's tea somewhere, they have such unique flavours!
