It's Monday, What Are You Reading? (73)

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, is a bookish meme hosted by One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It’s a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over to Journey and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books I Read Last Week:
I absolutely loved this one! It hooked me in and I finished it in no time! I'm really looking forward to going back and reading the first three books in this series. :D I'm participating in its blog tour, and I'll be having a giveaway for this one too soon, so keep your eyes open for it. :D

This one was for another blog tour. :) I liked it. It was a sweet story, and definitely made me even more excited for summer. :P

Well it took me a while to get into this one, but once I did I didn't want to put it down. The only downside was that I felt like it took a long time to build up to the story, and then once I finally got hooked the book was almost over....it also had one of the worst cliffhangers ever...series, it was kind of cruel, but at the same time, it will definitely make me pick up the next one!

I only have to review the first book in this series for the blog tour I'm participating in, but since I finished this one, I'll probably end up reviewing it the same day now, too. I definitely preferred the first book, but this one was still good. The only downside was that there were a tonne of editorial errors, but I'm hoping that my copy was only like that because it was a reviewer's copy. Other than that, I really liked Lucas, Aiden, and Fallon.

Reading Now:
So far this has been a really fast read, and it's been easy to just flow through it. I'm hoping that the main character, Hester, will open up soon though because she's a bit hard to connect with, but even with Hester being distant, it's still been a really enjoyable story. :)

Books I Want to Read This Week:
I've had an arc of this for a while and I kept pushing it to the side, so I'm finally going to pull it off my shelf and get started on it. I'm looking forward to it. :)

And what are you reading???

  2. I agree about MB, and it's a good time to read Fury since the second book is coming out soon I think (though weird mismatch with the covers!) I hadn't heard too many positive things about this book though, even though it sounded interesting, so I'll definitely be checking out your review.

    Happy reading :)

  3. @Kristin: Thanks, and I hope you have a great week, too. :)

@The Brunette Librarian: I know, I love it too! :D Thanks, and happy reading to you, too. :)

@Zoë: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Ooh, I just looked, definitely a weird match. They must've done a redesign or something. I'm kind of getting sick of them doing that with tonnes of book series now. :P Yeah, I've heard a lot of mixed stuff, mostly bad, so I'm hoping I'll like it. lol Happy Reading to you, too. :D
